Hey Teacher Friends…The holidays are fast approaching and if you’re anything like me, you will indulge in the things you love to eat and drink. Of course, I’d rather eat than drink, but there are some delicious cocktails that I can’t resist. It’s tough when you have to get up the next morning feeling physically and mentally unfit to do anything. As teachers, most of us don’t do too much partying the night before we have to go to work, but if you do, you don’t want to have to face kids virtually or physically feeling hungover. In this post I’d like to share a few suggestions that will help.
First, a word about potencies for home use: It is recommended that you use the lower potencies: 6X/6c, 12x/12c, 30X/30C. The 30X/30C strengths generally react quickly and more deeply but need more precise prescriptions than the lower potencies. If you are unsure about your prescription, I suggest that you stick with the 6x/6C, 12X/12C doses.
Basic dosage is 3 pellets, placed under your tongue, let dissolve. This should be taken 3-4 times daily until symptoms ease up. In severe cases, the remedy may be taken hourly or on the half hour until there is relief. Then 3-4 doses daily until symptoms are alleviated.
Remember, do not touch the pellets with your hands, as they will become contaminated. Use the cap from the bottle to dispense the remedy. Wait for at least 15 minutes before or after you eat to take any homeopathic medicine.
